Canoeing Rules for Camp Gold Hollow

1. Never stand up in the canoe.
2. Always wear a life jacket.
3. When entering and exiting the canoe ...... STAY LOW
4. Always have a paddle.
5. Always have a buddy with you; never go out alone
6. Do not switch positions unless properly trained.
7. Wear sunscreen.
8. When loading/unloading the canoe, an adult must be holding it steady.
9. No more then 3 people in a canoe.
10. No unnecessary swamping of canoes
11. No banging into other canoes or objects
12. Stay within sight of the lifeguard, and outside of the swimming area.
13. Do not allow paddle blade to come into contact with ground
14. Have fun!!!
